A unique addition to the many historical sights in the downtown district of rapid city. Live bands and events all summer and an ice skating ring in the winter, surrounded by a large variety of restaurants and specialty shops makes this a fun place that's cheap and convenient for family fun View all feedback.
What potatofisher doesn't like about Maonis:
Terrible pet policy. It is a public outdoor area, akin to a park, and for some odd reason dogs aren't allowed. You aren't allowed to even walk a dog on the sidewalks around it in the evening when there are no events going on. Do their security guards seriously have nothing better to do than harass people walking their dogs? I know the nasty grass is fake, and I don't like walking on it myself, so my dog isn't going t... Great place to hang out in Downtown Rapid City. The shops have VERY limited hours so hopefully you have the day off to visit them between 11 and 5 on a weekday.
It was magical! There was roller derby with Rushmore Rollerz, a fun water park, ice cream, and wonderful people that were so friendly. Next time we are so renting the bikes. It really felt welcoming and like you want to move there! (Mini vacation)
Beautiful downtown area. Great food, entertainment and fun for the entire family. My boys love the fountains!
A wonderful gathering place for Rapid City and surrounding area. The parking garage is free at times and the activities change throughout the year. We've gone ice skating, listened to free concerts, and other activities and always enjoyed ourselves.
The Wi-Fi sucks and there's one staff member who will chew your ass if you bring your dog anywhere near there. Other than that, very friendly staff and a positive atmosphere
