We had a wonderful first experience on New Year's Day 2022. Sheila greeted us and was so friendly and friendly while we ordered. The order was a little tricky, but Sheila helped us find out. Later she visited us while we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee on the heated terrace. The Placitas Platter was enough for both of us to share and it was great. Last stop and early morning breakfast before you travel back to Austin. See the reviews of this place and knew we had to try it! Got there at 8:00 and had their green Chile Omelette with a croissant and my friend had the rio rancho huevos rancheros with green Chile and we decided to share a berry crepe! He had morning coffee while I had her freshly pressed ABI. Everything was AMAZING! I really wanted to try green Chile before we left the city (as New Mexico was known for it) and that really hits the point. The OJ was also some of the best I had. My Bf is not the biggest crepe eater, but he loved the Berry crepe. The eggs in my omelet were so soft and padded and melted in my mouth! Coffee was freshly brewed this morning and my friend really appreciated it (as sometimes they serve a day old coffee and we appreciate when it comes fresh). I'm not much of a diner usually, but love to stop during road trips and that's definitely up there as one of my favorites I've tried so far! They also had a wide selection of amazing pastries in their bakery. I hope to come back soon and try their gigantic Texas style cinnamon roll! The service was amazing and it was very spacious with its seating. We also got our food SUPER FAST. So amazing and fast service! Could not recommend this place enough! The beautiful waitress faded my bf on his baby yoda Christmas sweater and he really appreciated it! Let a smile on our face as this was the last point we checked on our trip to Ruidoso! 5/5 stars!
Unusual process for ordering. You order in an area, they give you a table number that you will need to find. You pay at your table. However, food and service are great. It can wait very busy with 20 or 30 minutes. Parking can also be a problem, but it is worth waiting. I had half a sandwich that was a lot. (Pictured is a half order of its version of a French dip, large). Probably the busiest place in Ruidosa. Try to visit in the first time. Even the low potato salad was really good. Place, without parking was ADA appellant and they had a really nice closed heated outdoor terrace. I'm often back.
Friendly staff! Amazing breakfast, which you order in advance and will guide you to your table. Coffee 5 stars alone and the mixed berries crepes were amazing. Terrace also available

Always a wonderful experience. YES, there is usually a wait to get in. However, it is worth it to get some mimosas, bagels and loks, eggs Benedict, traditional breakfast and lunch, coffee, and anything else that may fill the hidden, fancy British aristocrat within all of you reading this. Plus, let me say, their Pinon coffee is just, wow. The level of inappropriate I would do with that coffee would get me demonitized on Onlyfans. Come enjoy Cornerstone, its worth the wait.
