We sat on the terrace... read more This restaurant is part of the Entrelagos Hotel Complex, but is open to the public and perfectly placed for lunch when visiting this area. We sat on the terrace outside the bar with excellent views of the lake and were served a delicious lunch. The menu del dia cost €15 each and though this is high for the region, I felt it was excellent value as the portions were large and the food of high quality. Including coffee and a couple of extra beers the total cost came to €51 for the three of us. In Spain it is unusual to tip, but here the waiter could have not been more charming and opened the terrace for us (he could have directed us to the restaurant claiming the terrace was shut! , so I added a €5 tip. I suspect it will be very crowded in July and August, but there is ample space and a large private parking area nearby. I shall definitely make it a regular eating place for my guests when we visit the Lagunas de Ruidera. In high summer there is also a private beach and pedalos, so also worth considering for a day out if you have children.
