What ange d doesn't like about The Dun Cow:
I would recommend the Dun Cow with several reservations: My friend and I, both over eighty and one with mobility difficulties and despite having booked a table, were shown to a small table beside the hearth with a very dangerous corner stone, at the furthest point from the main entrance, where we tolerated an extremely loud family and a screaming child. We by-passed a table in the first room which we wrongly thought... View all feedback.

I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant and it will eat our new favourite place.
Meet with friends and had a super, meal together. great selection and quality, with excellent service from all employees. is coming back.
The food we received was good with certain elements that could be improved. we had chips with 2 of the 3 main courses and they tasted completely different. menu was a standard innkeepers fayre. nice restaurant neat service on a busy Saturday.
Lovely restaurant, delicious food and good service (a little slow, but it was very busy) It was a last minute booking and a very pleasant surprise. Our table was near the fire so it was cosy and warm. 3 courses for under £30 was a bargain, the servings were plentiful and really tasty. We will definitely be returning
It was my Husbands birthday on the 28th. I would like to say the staff were excellent and also attentive. The staff brought to our table a board which said Happy Birthday and they also sang to my Husband. Then, we got our dinner. The food was very underwhelming. The food was lukewarm and the vegetables were soggy, also the Yorkshire pudding were not light and fluffy I could not get my knife through it. I sent back my pudding three times as it was lukewarm. The staff were very apologetic. I would not have complained and I am sure the kitchen staff were very busy, but it put a dampener on a birthday celebration. My Husband and I are booked in for a Christmas Eve lunch, but I don't know if I want to come.
