The hotel has a good value for money. The rooms are simple but the beds are very good. The bathroom is big enough. The presence of the restaurant in the same premises is very convenient for dinner. View all feedback.
What Elise Vincent doesn't like about Brasserie des Freres Caudron:
Home to flee, dishes expressly presented without having had time to cook properly. Staff seemed eager to close. What a desappointment. We won't be going back there. Service: 1 Location: 1 View all feedback.
We remembered this pretty restaurant in which we came several years ago. It's always good, it's with a nice and efficient service.
Address recommended by our host to lawns, and we were disappointed. positive: service, frog, fries. negtif: the steak served too grilled, the nugget chicken very dry my two little children enjoyed the fries. our two glasses of saumur champigny had to finish the bottle and unfortunately a lot of deposit in the back of the glasses. On the two ice balls ordered, a ball was melted when it was served.
This was a delightful hotel near to the railway station in Rue, a small town in Picardie near the Marquenterre at the mouth of the Somme. The hotel was a celebration of the frères Caudron who created the first French aeroplane to fly in 1909. There is also a museum to them in the town and a monument to them on the coast at Le Crotoy near by. Our room was very comfortable with ensuite bathroom and toilet. The restaurant at the hotel, a brasserie, served very tasty food, quite a wide menu and provided a very substantial buffet breakfast. We had a meal there the night we arrived and enjoyed it so much we decided to use it again for our second night in the hotel. The staff gave us a warm welcome and in the hotel, restaurant and bar were always very helpful and friendly. Parking was nearby and free in one of the town's squares. We shall be happy to go back there.
On the recommendation of TripAdvisor we visited this place for lunch and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was full at lunchtime and this is not surprising considering the quality of food they had on offer. Many local dishes available. I had rognons de veau which were quite outstanding. Certainly worth a visit.
* Food was great * Special mixed desert plate is great * The brasserie is able to welcome groups of 17 people Logistic can really be improved even with pre-ordering But it is not a place to be vegetarian
