After visiting this place twice before wearing a tank top and showing my tattoos and always being treated politely by a kind waiter, I came today just for a coffee. This time, the bartender asked me to cover my body because, according to her, it was “not appropriate” for older customers to see someone with many tattoos. I refused and left immediately. I will not sit in a place that doesn’t respect people for who they are. Managers of this establishment should be ashamed if this is the kind of service and attitude they allow. Every person deserves respect regardless of how they look. No one should ever be made to feel ashamed or asked to hide their appearance. If that’s really the policy, then please be honest and put a sign at the entrance saying: “Entry allowed only for tattooed people who agree to cover themselves.”
Nice local bar, they serve good value meals too. I like the atmosphere, and the super friendly staff.
