Quality farm to table restaurant. I’ve loved share plates forever, it’s the engaging moment when you both dive into the food pause out of politeness then jump back in, elbowing to get the first serve, that does it. Big portions, rustic presentation and quality nosh are trademarks of what’s happening at The provincial. Simple items like carrots and broccolini are delicious. I got hooked on the octopus and devoured most of the plate. The large gnocchi we had were tasty pillows of yum. My other fav was the beef cheeks on mash, rammed with flavour still moist after menu hours under heat. Many dessert options so lucky we got a platter.

Food is great, fresh and tasty. Well presented. Service is friendly, always with a smile. Pricing is fair for the quality. Super cocktails. Best long island iced tea I've had for a long time. A real neighbourhood gem.

Although I've not tried the meals on the menu I've spent some time getting to know the proprietor and it just seems so good that I'm ready to begin in a 5 star review. This venue was available for 6 months today. What a hidden jewel. As I walked into the door I had been welcomed and then pleased with the decor. French provincial? I'm a small brunch guy, so this area is going to be for me personally. Lunches at Cafe costs for the time being I am more than pleased to come eat and see everything they must give.If you can come in for supper you can sit to a large elegant table that's installed farmhouse style. Ideal for a tiny group. Or tiny tables of two or 4 can be found.I believe I might have found my neighborhood... Happy location!

Modern farmhouse style and family friendly restaurant. It is probably much better suited for dinner, but they also have an decent brunch menu. There is plenty of space for larger groups of people. Service was really attentive, coming over often to refill our cups.
