Roystonian - Royston
Roystonian
Description
The restaurant offers a varied dining experience that has left many patrons divided. While breakfast tends to receive high praise for quality and friendly service, lunch has proven inconsistent, with customers reporting underwhelming portion sizes and cold dishes. Outrageously priced meals alongside uninviting service detract from enjoying the overall experience, leading some to express disappointment regarding the atmosphere, especially regarding perceived biases. However, a few visitors celebrated the attentive staff and delicious breakfast, citing their willingness to return. Ultimately, while the breakfast menu shines, the establishment struggles to deliver a universally satisfying dining experience.

Service is excellent, rated 5/5, and the food is equally impressive, also a 5/5. The atmosphere here is delightful, earning another 5/5. For brunch, I highly recommend trying the scrambled eggs, cheesecake salad, and the biscuits with sausage gravy. The price per person typically ranges from $10 to $20.
You’re grandma will love it here. Perfect for Royston. Old school southern cooking where Mac and cheese has all the cheese on top. Buffet style, kind workers and charming interior.
First time there, breakfast. I was pleasantly greeted when I walked in the door. My waitress invited me to be seated at my leisure. Simple, but very adequate. Was waited on promptly with a friendly smile. The waitress was helpful in choosing from the menu. The food was served in good time. The presentation was great. The food was hot, and quantity and quality were as good as home-cooked...and I'm a pretty good cook myself. Service continued to be thoughtful but not overt. Price was very reasonable with two eggs, grits, gravy, country ham(a sizeable portion I might add , a great biscuit, and sweet tea...just over ten dollars. Next time, lunch! : !!!! Thank you ladies for a great experience.
