What Thargon likes about Nana's Japanese Café:
This little restaurant is a find and a half. We have been to Japan and the food here is as authentic as it comes. Booking is essential, as this place is really popular. My wife has the Chicken Katsu Don My son the Mixed Luke Don and I had the Tasting tray. The tasting tray was a very good choice, with rice, fish, seaweed, aubergine, tofu green beans and aubergine. Plus the all important miso soup. All served indiffer... View all feedback. What Ben C doesn't like about Nana's Japanese Café:
I don't get why people rate this place when Hayashi exists not far away? The ramen was awful. Cheap, instant noodles used, broth was weak and watery, apparently if you ask for 2x eggs that means 2x halves of one egg. read moreNana's is a cozy Japanese restaurant that offers a mix of hits and misses according to customer reviews. Some diners found the ramen disappointing, with complaints about the quality of the noodles and broth. However, others praised the Takoyaki and desserts. The sushi was also a point of contention, with some finding it lacking in flavor and quality. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. Many customers enjoyed the variety of dishes offered, highlighting the authentic flavors and carefully prepared meals. Overall, Nana's seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, making it an intriguing option for those seeking a taste of Japanese cuisine in the area.
