Spice Village Indian - Rowlett

We found this hidden gem over a year ago and have been returning several times a month ever since. The food is excellent, and the owners are even more delightful! They are incredibly friendly and attentive, always remembering us whenever we walk in. They notice if we haven't been there in a while and let us know they've missed us. It's such a pleasure to have business owners who truly value and appreciate their customers. This restaurant is a must-visit!

The food experience was quite disappointing. We ordered fried rice with chili chicken and bamboo chicken biryani, and unfortunately, every dish was unsatisfactory. The chili chicken was the worst, lacking any spices or even salt; it was completely tasteless. I also found it strange that the chicken had a light yellow color. As for the bamboo chicken biryani, it was equally flavorless.

This restaurant is incredibly clean and welcoming as soon as you step inside. Our food was ready when we arrived, and we ordered quite a bit—but they didn’t miss a thing. My husband tried to make the guy laugh with some jokes, and he really played along, which added to the fun atmosphere. They took great care in wrapping all the food to prevent any spills, and I really appreciated that attention to detail. It only took them 30 minutes to prepare everything we requested, and we ended up spending around $90. I highly recommend this place! The food was seasoned perfectly, and we can’t wait to return for another order!

Great food, friendly people. It is kinda hard to find nice south indian food near me and these guys do a great job. Can't say every single thing on the menu is great all the time but thats to be expected when they make everything from scratch. You will have those good days and bad days. I've always enjoyed their food.

Best restaurant ever. Their catering is superb. Mr. Abraham and his team is always helpful. They can make halal meat dishes on request. Their appetizers are never greasy nor too spicy. We have catered from them multiple times and never been disappointed. Please support them They are an asset to our community and the neighborhood.
