I had the pleasure of staying here yesterday. My wife and I have often talked about going, but one thing or another has come and stopped us from trying. We met some friends for dinner, and it was great. I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, pulled pig and Jalapeno Cheddar sausage, my sides were frits and Mac 'n' cheese. It wasn't disappointed. We finished our dinner with an apple scobbler and banana pudding. We'll be back. The service was also great!

Best barbecue in town! My favorite dinner is BBQ and it's very hard to impress me. Sammy Lue's restaurant made me feel like I'm part of the family! The food was delicious! Customer service was at the top! It is a great place to eat and hang out! Management ensured that everyone took care and it is very difficult to find customers like this! Will definitely be back! I found a new BBQ spot to eat

Why only 5 stars? That's 5 stars plus. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken steak was one of the best I ever had. The meat was never frozen in top quality, made in the house, not a Gristle, only delicate juicy steak, baked to perfection. The potatoes were excellent and the engraving did not need any extra spice. The green beans were made in the south. The BBQ wheel was slim and error-free. The BBQ sauce was right, not too sweet. The onion rings were excellent, never tasted better. This place is small, and the outer stripe mall facade does not reflect the original old time charm of the interior. I wish I found Sammy Lous earlier.

This is simply delicious Texas bbq with a friendly waiting staff and fast service. We ordered a few three meat plates and tried to get one of everything to try as much as we could. Each product was absolutely amazing and the sauce is so good that you want more and more. Don't forget a piece of Pecan Pier! It's pretty small and doesn't look like much outside, but it's a real jewel and worth your time and money! I can't wait to go back.

We were hungry after church and my husband said BBQ, so we tried this place. We had the brisket, cheese and jalapeño sausage, smoked turkey, and catfish. All of it 100% melt in your mouth delicious and the sauces are amazing! Best turkey I’ve ever had. The fried green tomatoes also melt in your mouth. The portion sizes are not too big, which is great because I got to taste so many different things.
