Ding's Garden - Rowland Heights

Today I took my family to eat here for the first time. I thought it tasted pretty good. The salted chicken was delicious. I will come back again.

We used to eat here once or twice a week until we moved our office. Today we revisited this place and wanted to see if the food was still as good as before. The service was still very good and friendly, but unfortunately the food didn’t taste as good as before. The dry noodles were pretty good, but the rest was bit below expectations. For example, the pork hocks tasted average but many hair left unplucked. The 水煎包 grilled buns’ flavor was okay, but the skin was too thick and chewy. The street wantons’ wraps were way too thick and some parts weren’t cooked through. Finally the mixed appetizer 攪和攪和） really needs improvement. The cucumbers had no flavor and the seaweeds were way undercooked, nearly raw. I guess things change and as well as tastes, even at one your old favorites.
