With faultless dishes, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service, it is a fantastic dining experience that exceeds expectations. The decor, seasonal dessert menu, and good selection of wines further add to the appeal of this hidden gem. Despite some minor inconveniences like opening times and dessert portion size, the overall experience at the Coach House is highly recommended for those looking for a delightful dining experience in Roundwood.
Nice eating, very friendly staff, especially andjezs, who was really helpful and felt very welcome. eating was nice, beautiful place, would recommend this place to everyone.
Very delicious food. all new decor makes it for a cozy place to eat and stop a pint(or several)
Stay for two nights and have to say the rooms were immaculate and comfortable nothing but perfect for a break. the restaurant on the ground floor was great, eating excellent terry and the restaurant manager were fantastic plus a great coffee dock in the parking lot. I will definitely be back in round wood and will not hesitate in the booking rooms. fab wee spot. aus warrenpoint.
One of the better places we have eaten throughout our tour. the food was wonderful, the beer was cold, (fantastic selection, by the way) and the atmosphere was quite friendly.
Expensive stay at the Coach House! Over-priced for basic accommodation, and a friendly bar with overpriced food that was very average. Breakfast not included despite it being advertised as a B&B, with the only available breakfast available from a cafe outside the building (not signposted so difficult to locate until a cleaner showed us the way). Rooms were very basic, everything you need after a long hike but nothing more. And not at all soundproof as you could hear everything in the corridor and rooms next-door. Towels were threadbare and there was no way to switch on bathroom light in our double without switching on the main light as well. To be honest, it would have been fine to stay there if it was priced as a two or three star location, but you would think you were staying somewhere fancy with gourmet food for what they are charging... I can only assume it's because there aren't many other options in Roundwood. On the plus side, staff were friendly and everything was clean.
