Teague's Tavern - ROUND TOP

Today, we decided to return for lunch and had plenty of stories to share with the owner. We learned so much about Round Top that we’re even more excited to come back than we were before—something I didn’t think was possible! Everything we ate was delicious, but we both agreed that the sirloin steak was the best we've ever had (and coming from Texas, that means a lot!). Keep up the great work; we can't wait to see you again next year!

The food, the atmosphere, location and service were amazing. I drove over 100 miles for a Tavern burger and a fall on ****.

There are very few options available at Round Top. This was a very nicely decorated and clean tavern. There was a solo artist playing guitar and singing which was nice. It wasn't too loud and he had a really pleasant voice to listen to. The food was well presented and tasty. The peach cobbler was rather odd though. Would have preferred it to have had some kind of pastry. It was more like a peach stew. Rather unusual and wouldn't order again. The wait staff were sweet and attentive.

Teague's Tavern is definitely the best place to eat or drink in Round Top, I make a point to go every time that I am in town. Very nice management and staff combined with excellent food create a very pleasant environment. Go on!
