Once inside we wer... read more We fell upon this little gem of a bar after a night of wondering around Rouen. We were heading to our hotel and decided on a quick night cap. Once inside we were greeted by the owner his welcome was just pure class. He welcomed...us into his bar like he had known us all our lives, it was warm and genuine which made us feel all very relaxed and at home in his bar. His knowledge of his various wines and their regions along with his healthy spirts selections (inculding the Japanese Whisky) were top draw. Add to this the impressive measures poured and the well presented drinks, we were very pleasantly surprised. The bar also serves food, but unfortunately for us we had already eaten, however the meals being eaten by the other patrons looked very good and plentiful too. The bar itself was clean and had a funky and casual/relaxed ambiance. All in all a great little find and certainly a venue I would visit again when I'm next in Rouen.

The owner couldn 't have been more accommodating, rearranged a couple of tables and the 'palm on wheels '. Made us feel so welcome and made us laugh. A very unassuming restaurant, you will be surprised at the great quality of the meals...and the very friendly service.
