We specifically asked for food to be vegan, and in French explained that it meant no meat,... read more The restaurant was almost empty when we attended on a Monday evening. We specifically asked for food to be vegan, and in French explained that it meant no meat, no fish, no eggs and no dairy. We explained that two of the four of us had a dairy intolerance. It took over an hour to deliver a mezze board and some falafel. The first mezze board contained multiple dairy containing items. We explained the situation very gently and could then hear the chef shouting at the waitress. Our poor waitress then spent the remainder of the meal crying. We ate what we could of the meal and left hungry for fear of upsetting them further. 4 hours later 2 of the 4 of us were very sick.
