Decent pizza, possibly slightly over-priced but not a surprise in the tourist trap of old Rouen. We dined in the middle of a thunderstorm so happy for the shelter.
Four of us ate here this evening for an early dinner, walk-in. The food was pretty poor quality. The fries tasted particularly off. A couple of hours later, the three of us who had had the fries were all vomiting. Hadn’t eaten anything else substantial since breakfast, so pretty sure it was the food from here. Best avoided. Beer was good though.
The cafe is on a corner in an attractive square. The duck conceit had plentiful pate, but only two pieces of bed. It was tasty. But the order of pizza took unreasonably long—more than 1/2 hour after we finished the confeit, even though both were ordered at the same time. It a town catering to out of town visitors who value their viewing time, this is unacceptable. We would not recommend coming to this place.
Thoroughly recommend the pizza, beer and desserts. Appreciated young female waitress who ran around keeping everyone happy!
