Dome - ROTTNEST ISLAND

Wonderful food and drinks served quickly. delicious and healthy. coming from the states, it is welcome to have service with a smile. beautiful view to go.

By any standard this place is terrible. TGI Friday's atmosphere. Expensive and poor quality food. Greek lamb salad was a bowl of baby spinach with some chopped vegetables and a couple of sad tasteless pulled lamb pieces, drowned in cheap dressing. It looked much better than it tasted. Eggs were nicely cooked but an underwhelming breakfast to say the least Credit where it's due for the nice view, nice enough coffee and efficient service. I'm also taking into account the limited choices on the island. But even so, Dome is disappointing.

We've just been to the Dome in Rottnest Island. Ordered three different meals plus coffees. Coffee was luke warm. None of the meals looked as advertised or even had half the amount of produce in them than displayed on the menu. When I asked if they can add more than one slice of beef to the Reuben sandwich it was taken away, brought back the same and taken away again and finally I had to go see the manager myself. There I was told this is what a Reuben is supposed to be No it isn't. I had to argue with the manager and CAN NOT RECOMMEND this place. Terrible experience, service and just poor quality. Other meals weren't much better. You're better off going somewhere else.

We ordered 2xcoffee twisters and a club sandwich. Coffee twisters came quickly, but the cream tasted off to both me and my sister. We informed the wait staff when they brought out our meal to which she replied well its not off i made it this morning'. I said that it was off, it tasted sour to us both and she said its because they don't add sugar to their cream. I said I know very well what FRESH cream tastes like and this was not fresh. She asked if we wanted her to take the cream off the drinks and I asked for a refund. I got my refund, without any apology. Also, the line was about 20 people long and only one till open. I ordered two breakfasts and two coffees. When the coffees didn't arrive, it turned out they had only taken an order for one. When I asked for another they told me it would take fifteen minutes, even though it was their mistake. They need to learn customer service.
