The restaurant has a very cozy terrace with a heater overlooking Lake Tegernsee. The menu is very regional but quite modern, the dishes were delicious from the starter to the dessert, every course was a highlight! Some of us opted for the classics, e.g. the Wiener Schnitzel, rarely eaten such a good schnitzel in Germany. What stood out, however, was the young, very nice and attentive waitress who turned our visit into a lovely evening. We would love to come back…

It's just... read more We were very satisfied with our visits to the Egerner Bucht restaurant. The staff was very friendly, young and attentive, and the food was delicious. It's just a shame that such hotels and restaurants always attract guests who think they're above the rest, who show it to everyone, and who treat the staff condescendingly.

In summer, the lake view is especially magnificent.
