The dining room may not have a specific theme, but the food is fantastic and the takeout containers are well-packaged. We ordered combos and found them to be both satisfying and delicious. View all feedback.
What Ashley P doesn't like about House of Chan:
The food was delicious, but my husband was not pleased. I enjoyed my meal until the very end when I discovered small pieces of metal that resembled staples. I believe they may have come from a cleaning brush or something similar. It was quite off-putting. View all feedback.
I dropped in for a special with honey garlic ribsThe price was abit high and food was average Chinese. Service was prompt and friendly.
This is my go to for Chinese Food in the KV Valley- healthy, tasty options other than fried food - reasonable range in prices Quick and always hot and tasty when we get takeout
Can't rate the food because we didn't get any. I was told that if I ordered around 4, we could pick up our order by 5 - 5:15. When I called at 4, they told me it would be ready at 8:30. When I said I called at noon to confirm the order time and was told 4, they said - "Sorry, we can't have it until 8 - we have orders from earlier in the week to fill" Not sure who I talked to at 12, but they were uninformed which is a management issue. We had to go into panic mode to get Chinese for our evening and it was disappointing because we couldn't get the dishes we wanted. It was a lot cheaper where we got it, however - that was a bonus. Management needs to talk to their staff.
Service and food is always top-notch. House of Chan has a good variety of menu items and all items are freshly prepared.
I'm from the West Coast and didn't have huge expectations, but it was more Canadian Chinese than authentic Chinese food. All of the standards without any surprises.
