The restaurant was in chaos, with dirty plates and glasses... read more This was our first time dining out since the lockdown in March, and it was a complete disappointment. The restaurant was in chaos, with dirty plates and glasses on the tables that we had to move ourselves. The staff didn't offer to clean or sanitize the tables as they walked past. There was no social distancing in place, and children were running around as if everything was normal. The food was terrible - half of what we ordered was missing and no replacements were offered. If the waitress had informed us beforehand, we could have chosen something else to make a complete meal. When we had a complaint about the dessert and sent it back, the waitress took it without saying a word and walked away. We won't be returning to this place again, even though it's our family's local restaurant. I'm just glad it's not mine.

Immediately saw waitress empty a dirty table of plates, never came back to wipe it or sanitise it and the paper menus were left out, presumably for the next occupant. No point in using hand sanitiser when you enter if this is the levels of cleanliness displayed. During breakfast saw this happen to another table so this is obviously the new ‘norm’ here. An infection waiting to happen...
