What User doesn't like about Ye Old Kings Head:
We were immediately greeted with "don't order food" even though we never asked for food. We had a drink and then had to wait a long time for another drink, despite the pub being almost empty. The bartender sat at another table near us vaping constantly and using bad language while on her phone most of the time, which caused us to leave quickly. The service was disgusting. We was down from York as viking re enactors and this pub was where we drank after a hard days battle. It was so homely and welcoming that we didnt even bother with the other pubs around. One particular lady behind the bar showed us amazing hospitality and does this pub very proud and know that because of her the vikings will be back, but with more vikings. View all feedback.
