My wife and I stopped into The Fig without a booking for dinner. We were able to get a table and enjoyed the great food and atmosphere. Very friendly place with excellent food. Service: 5 Location: 5
We were visiting friends in Rye who recommended The Fig as we were 3 vegetarians. We had lunch and although a limited menu we ordered 2 gnocchi and one taco. The food was fabulous , the service was excellent and the coffee was 5*. We had dessert which was date pudding and caramel sauce which was beautiful. Loved this place and will be back on our next trip Service: 5 Location: 5
We ate at the restaurant for dinner. The ambiance was great, it’s a beautiful little restaurant. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately we didn’t care for any of the food or drinks. It’s a very small menu with creative dishes that missed the mark for us. As an example, the tacos were overly sweet, which being from the west coast of the states, was the wrong flavor profile. The goat cheese was grainy and the chili jam on the kale (halloumi and mushroom) was again too sweet.
