Easy to find, just across the road from the entrance to Battle Abbey, so after our visit to the Abbey we visited here for a coffee. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the illy coffee was really very good indeed. View all feedback.
Great coffee, probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Handmade to perfection, no steps missed or corners cut. Owner is so welcoming and remembered my youngest Jake from 2 years prior. Would recommend this coffee shop over any others in town. So pleased they are still there despite CoVid. Would love to have some local cakes or bakery items next.
I visit this restaurant with my friends every week and we all love the coffee here, it is the best in Battle. As a vegan, I appreciate the variety of alternative milks available, which can be difficult to find elsewhere. I am pleasantly surprised to find such a high-quality coffee shop in a rural area. Thank you Tres! Additionally, I feel that the restaurant is very clean and safe, with all necessary Covid safety measures in place.
A real social hub to the historic town with exceptional coffee and the owner makes the atmosphere pleasant and inclusive, enthusiastically welcoming tourists as well as locals. A real delight.
I pop in here for coffee a few times a week after dropping my son to nursery, The coffee is always perfect (not easy to do with oat milk and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. They have delicious homemade biscuits perfect for a treat with my takeaway hot drink.
This unique coffee shop on Battle High Street is unlike any other. It has a club-like atmosphere and once you've met the owner, Tres, you won't soon forget it. I've encountered many fascinating locals and travelers while visiting, and it's truly a special place to have in town. With so much more to offer than just coffee, it's an independent gem not to be missed. Make sure to stop by soon.
