Great little old school cafe in a lovely little village! We always come here even the dogs welcome! Great simple food and good value. People on here complaining about it needing modernising and fancier food there’s other places in Rothbury that would welcome you and charge you for the pomp and ceremony that may or may not come with it! Highly recommend this cafe, we had Sunday lunch delivered to the Narrow Nick. I'm not a Huge fan of Sunday dinner, but this was outstanding fresh veg, delicious yorkie, tasty roast beef and it was served red hot too!
Enjoyed a well presented an tasty Sunday roast dinner delivered to my door steaming hot , 2 meals for less the £15 complete value an can highly recommend , thank you All at the vale cafe
Visited on Sunday the 6th of November, it was freezing cold and pouring and we were searching for a pub for lunch, as we passed we seen a gorgeous looking roast beef dinner being eaten by a guy near the window, needless to say we all bundled in , 3 roast beef dinners with homemade Yorkshire pudding, £5.95 absolutely amazing value and really lovely beef , will definitely be back lovely service too
