Decent sandwiches not exactly the cleanest dining room no idea about why they brag about the tea. We had an early dinner here tonight and the most interesting thing was the people who came through?it was quite the collection. I had the club which was decent but skimpy. My wife?s Italian was okay she didn?t care care for it being heated. The tea was a good brew but it needed more sugar barely even sweet at all. The di... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
I'd like to check the food, but they decided to close early. Easy note on the door. I remember a time when companies actually looked after and believed in customer service. Not anymore. Last chance with this place. We're not coming back. View all feedback.
Great location. Good food. The employee shortage is definitely impacting this location however. Wish they were able to get food out faster, but overall good.
I come here every week, Matt Keisha does a phenomenal job given the staff shortage. The sweet tea is the best in Georgia, Matt is always so pleasant gets orders out super speedy! My only concern is that management gets more staff on shifts! So wait times can be minimized. I love this location def recommend!
We went for a quick dinner. A quiet place, but busy. Your order at the counter and theu bring your drinks then food. There is an option to order at the table with the app. We ordered a smokey chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with side salad, a choose 2 1/2 French dip with loaded baked potato, potato salad and fruit cup. All was great. We even had to take some home as leftovers. Friendly staff we only saw 2.. The cook and counter person, but they did a fine job. Place was clean.
I've been coming to McAlister's Deli for 20+ years, primarily for the sweet tea because it has always been outstanding. However, for the past couple of months it's been hit or miss, mostly miss, being pale and cloudy in appearance, foamy at the top, and worst of all, tasting like a combination of reused tea bags and lemonade (both the sweet and unsweetened versions . I've asked many of the servers (who BTW are always helpful! if they're aware of the changes and no one seems to have any answers, although some have said other customers have also complained, so I don't think it's just me. Also, for the past several weeks, it's been on nearly a daily basis. I can't even drink it, it's so bad, nothing like the fresh brewed taste that is McAlister's signature tea. At this point, I think I'll just stop coming to McAlister's and either start brewing my own or look elsewhere. I don't know if management is aware of this, but if not, they should be. Their signature beverage is being adulterated, either wittingly or not, but something should be done to resolve it.
Food was okay, not worth the price we paid, but that's fine. The problem was how slow it was and unsafe we felt. We had to walk past around 6 men to get to the front door. They made very loud threats that the next person they saw with their phones out, they would get them. Unfortunately, this door was locked, so we had to walk through this group again and go to the other door. Inside, you could still hear how loud this group was and they were there until we left. Driving past this restaurant a few different times and they are there often. There was hardly anyone inside, both customers and employees. It was prime dinner time and there were three employees and two other clusters of customers, all waiting. We ordered and waited for 25+ minutes for our food. Got home and we were missing some items.
