Old Western - Rostock

Meat whose bad quality is accentuated by the inability of the cook to cook properly. we ordered a 450 gram Rib-Eye-Steak (entrecote) and a bark fillet: both were done and not as desired medium / blood; also the meat had an unpleasant burned taste. on our complaint we were professionally served a new dish: despite the correct preparation, the meat was tough this time and tasty disappointed by the expectations we decide to comfort ourselves with the dessert: we order a cheesecake that is served in a saucer only with a sad paper flag. the cheesecake has of course no ply or other supplements (on the menu against price) for a gourmet audience not recommended!

A typical western restaurant with very good food (I had a very good bark fillet, the burger of my wife was also good) and incredibly great service. we came with our 1 year old children, which was annoying this day. they had pens and paper, toys parat. because it wasn't enough, the manager took care of our children during eating. That was really nice.

Eating is really good and inexpensive, you will definitely find something to eat on the list. the desserts are really delicious. the menu was also in English, which is in this European and civilized country positiw.

The old western is recommended for many occasions. as a business restaurant with business friends, for a social dinner with friends, or for family celebrations. the owners and the staff are set up on everything, the service is inconsistent, but very attentive (the owners always have a watchful look for it), the quality of food and drinks well, the price-performance ratio is ok. You don't try to gourmet, but offer a varied kitchen for everyday purposes.

Came to lunch when I was in rostock for a city walk. the hired were friendly and helpful and the service was fast, which was great, as I had a hurry to get a kangaroo streak ordered with pellkartoffeln and that was excellent. .
