Was Beau at Aka Dake a mag?
Really good food They only did take out due to lake of staff But his friendly and service with a smile definitely going to eat here again And if they see this if they can add the monkey brain roll to there menu I know they would make it taste amazing View all feedback.
What Charles Fung dislikes about Aka Dake:
Been dealing with these guys for years. They both have bad attitudes and act like an order is the biggest inconvenience. Unfortunately its a case of no where else to get sushi so they have a captive audience and never improve. Sometimes the fish is old and weird tasting. View all feedback.
3 of us had dinner hear last night and thoroughly enjoy it.We ordered: the gouyza they were good but not great, the mixed tempura - fantastic and the highlight the Aka Dake party tray a great combination of delicious sushi and sashimi. Servings were generous. All in all a great meal.
Great food and service. Small place, seats 20 people. Udon soup had noodles and a good variety of seafood including squid. Sushi rolls were tasty and fresh. Prices reasonable. Service friendly and attentive.
We live in Christina Lake at New Horizon Motel. We only have some restaurants for Canadian food, and couple of Chinese in Grand Forks and they're not even better than the food court at the mall. But "Aka Dake" has a great food even compare to the big names in Vancouver. Maybe we can only go there 5 times a year, because of the business, but it is our best time to enjoy Aka Dake's fabulous sushi and service. I hope they can stay there for long time, because it is one and only Japanese for Grand Forks, Christina Lake, Castlegar, and Trail. Thank you very much for being there.
Excellent service. So very kind and friendly and great sushi . We really enjoyed their tempura as it was freshly made and especially delicious Thank you Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Vegetable Tempura, Rainbow Roll and Gyoza and Other
