read moreWhitworth Chippy has garnered mixed reviews recently, with patrons noting a decline in service and occasional unfriendly staff interactions. While some diners experienced delays and felt overlooked, others praised the establishment for its delicious battered fish and generous portion sizes. The notable peppered steak pie and haggis options received positive mentions, highlighting the chippy's commitment to quality fare. However, concerns regarding oil freshness and staff shortages during busy periods suggest room for improvement. Overall, Whitworth Chippy remains a popular take-out destination, especially for those seeking classic fish and chips, but it faces challenges that may deter some customers.
We so enjoy the fish chips from here! I love their Chinese Curry on my fish chips and hubby enjoys their Irish Curry.
