Gate Of India - Rossendale

I recently tried takeout from this restaurant for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed. The food arrived on time, even on a busy bank holiday weekend Saturday night. Everything was delicious and piping hot, including the poppadoms. The curry had a nice level of spiciness without being overwhelming and was full of flavor. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be ordering from here again.

There was only one other table in the restaurant. The service was terrible, we waited 15 minutes to be asked for our drinks order and the server seemed completely disinterested and borderline rude. The tables were dirty and not cleared. The server was often missing for long periods of time despite tasks that needed attention. The food was mediocre at best and overpriced - £4.95 for 3 poppadoms! We definitely will not be returning and would advise others looking for a good evening to steer clear as well.

My boyfriend and I had a pleasant evening at the restaurant. The food was delicious - we enjoyed bhajis, pineapple rice, vegetarian massalla, and tikka masala, along with some beers. The prices were very reasonable and I would definitely go back again. The staff were also very friendly.

Delicious food, excellent value for money. The restaurant is clean, welcoming and modern. The service was good and the food was very nice. All the food was full of flavour.Thank you for a lovely visit.

Went out for a Valentine's meal with my husband. Great food, good service, nice atmosphere. Nothing to complain about! Have been before and will return. Highly recommended.
