What Colin J doesn't like about Auberge Des Buttons:
This small family run restaurant is situated in a bucolic farm setting. I have only eaten there once. Its selling point is that the meat is produced by the farm and, indeed, is very good. The service is friendly but somewhat erratic. The menu was presented orally. I had no idea of the prices, including the aperitif. We went there to celebrate my birthday. And what a treat! The steaks were so tender and delicious- you almost dont need a knife! And the Carpe Frites is also lovely. Its a beautiful location in Brenne. You can even buy some meat to take with you. We look forward to come back soon. View all feedback.
