So this place is really one of those places that seems like you can't judge a book by its cover First the good. Place is very open.

Excellent lunch - the Arugula and Spinach Salad with Chicken was very fresh, light and tasty! The Peach Bellini and Lemon Meringue Tart were also great.

Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier.

Horrifying. Had to leave. At least 4 other tables walked out while I was there from what I saw (could have been more). Made us wait 45 minutes even though we had a reservation. Waited at the bar and the hostess never even told us when our table was ready (I had to get her bc she was on her phone the whole time doing nothing). When seated we had to wait another 20 minutes to order. Another 30 minutes passed and we didn 't even receive our drinks yet. Multiple waiters kept coming up to us asking if we were being helped. I don 't work in the restaurant business but I 'm pretty sure waiters are supposed to have a section that is their 's to serve. Every waiter looked confused and seemed like they were running around like a chicken without a head. I finally stopped one of waiters or bus boys and asked what was going on. He basically said no one here knows what they are doing and are extremely inexperienced. I told him to find our waiter and cancel the food and he agreed and said he 's sorry we had to deal with this mess. We left and went across the street to the landmark diner bc now it was almost 11pm on valentine 's day. If you don 't believe me, read all the other reviews from valentine 's day. They will say the exact same thing or even more.

Barto ruined my Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was incredibly slow. We waited 2 hours for food that never came. We asked the waiter and he said the kitchen couldn’t handle the volume. We then left and ate at the diner across the street. The diner was fantastic. Would recommend.
