Vinhus Restaurant & Lounge

I've been here a couple times now, but basing this review on last night's experienceFirst, I have no complaints about the food.

2 rounds Sangria, 3 Appetizers, 4 Entrees, 4 Coffees, 1 desert 1 cordial .

What a great time!!! We had Gorge as our server and he was fabulous! Finished a half bottle of wine it was $12 not bad!! Long behold I wanted a half pitcher

Loved the ambience. The coconut shrimp and the empanadas were very good. They both had a hint of spice which made them both very delightful. I had the fried chicken meal and the chicken was very good but I was not at all impressed with the macaroni and cheese. It had way too much milk in it. The collard greens were just ok. The cornbread was tasted different but was still good. My friend had the Cajun salmon and it was very good. My other friend had the pepper chicken and shrimp which was also very good. For dessert, we had the tartuffo, the red velvet and the chocolate lava cake. All were good but the red velvet was not your typical southern red velvet cake but it was very moist. The waitress was very nice and attentive and it was only her 5th day. I would rate this a solid 8.7, because I had to take off for the macaroni and cheese.

Service excellent. Food delicious. Drinks a bit weak. Dessert and coffee could be improved.
