Best home cooking from such a sweet breakfast Cafe. Been in Roseburg forever (or so it seems) . Very popular. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, and bring an appetite. Portions are generous. View all feedback.
What Dave Rose doesn't like about Casey's:
Never had Food so I’m not gonna ding on that, but the service was way sub par, more interested in conversation with their friends or pull tabs than serving paying customers. View all feedback.
We ordered the chicken roast steak it was soggy the salad was white parts ice burg, not the green vegetables were rough I was very disappointed. Too expensive for bad food
Great portion size and friendly staff. Affordable too! Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome, food choices that kids will like.
We were on the road, stopped in for breakfast. The chicken fried steak was fantastic. Next time I go south I'm going to stop in.
When travelling we like to try local diners rather than chain restaurants. Casey's was small with lots of locals dining. Staff was friendly and service good. Portions were large and prepared nicely. Everyone enjoying their meal.
Do you love breakfast food? This is one of those classic cafes that pile breakfast so high on your plate that you have to do some work to see the plate again. Those wide, heavy plates that stay warm and make you feel cozy. Don’t miss the turn coming into the restaurant, it’s a quick left onto Eden St. once you turn off the freeway, tucked behind the Chevron. Although Casey’s does get busy, the wait is usually not too long. They seem to rotate traffic pretty well. We were lucky to have no wait during our last visit. The staff was friendly and accommodating to my child, offering crayons and coloring sheets while we waited for our food. We ordered the corn beef hash, smiley face pancake, and another breakfast combo and stuffed our faces. Their hash browns are seared perfectly every time. The combo included biscuits and gravy and they may as well call it Mount Biscuit because that side alone could have substituted a meal! Our bellies were happy and full. You can pay at the front or wait for them to bring you a portable kiosk when you’re finished. We love the comfort of this classic cafe, it has basic booths and tables, but lacks a little luster for decoration and feels a bit worn. It’s a perfect example of ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ though because we keep coming back for more!
