Sabrosa - Roscoe
Sabrosa
Description
On the north side, this lively Mexican kitchen serves hearty, mostly authentic Tex‑Mex favorites—steak tacos, birria, burritos and enchiladas—with generous portions, made‑from‑scratch pinto beans and friendly, speedy service. Classics are reliable and customizable, and dishes are served hot. Occasional inconsistencies appear—sauces, rice or queso can disappoint—and indoor seating and a full bar are limited or unfinished. Overall, a rewarding spot for authentic flavors and satisfying portions, ideal for casual lunches and loyal return visits.

This restaurant serves authentic, comforting food that is genuinely satisfying. Be sure to try the queso birria tacos—they're amazing! The bar is still being built, but I'm excited for it to open soon.
A bit expensive but worth every penny for true authentic Mexican food. Not loaded down with seasoning salt and msg which I try to avoid. Made fresh to order every time. Always happy when I leave. If you want a healthier Mexican food and don't mind spending a few extra bucks this is the place.
No stars. Tacos dry, my chicken wasn't what the menu said and burrito so so. And woman on the phone was rude. I would give no stars.
This is not the spot for authentic Mexican. We thought we were getting queso for our chips but we got the orange, fake nacho cheese dip you get at football games. The rice tasted like it was out of a box and entrees were bland. No one in our group finished their meal and no one asked for a box. The 2 stars were earned for the pinto beans and the friendly server. I recommend giving somewhere else a try, if you're looking for Mexican.
