Now, onto the food. This place is known for its burgers, but I found them to be quite underwhelming. The burgers were of decent size, but they used frozen, pre-made patties instead of making them fresh. We ordered them medium, but they arrived well done. On a positive note, the fries were fantastic!
This has been a favorite stop of mine for over 20 years. I always stop here whenever I come out this way. The food is amazing- no corners cut. Fresh baked cakes, pies and pastries. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Well worth a visit. My favorite sandwich is the Monte Cristo with a side of turkey gravy. The beer-battered Haddock and old fashion French Toast are also winners. Service: Dine in
