Fire House Pub - Roscoe
Fire House Pub
Description
A neighborhood bar with untapped potential serves mediocre food with a lackluster menu. Although the cheese curds are recommended, the overall experience falls short. The service is inconsistent, with long wait times. However, some patrons enjoy the chicken wings and Friday fish fry options, highlighting the sriracha bourbon wings and Hoffman House prime rib sandwich. Despite mixed reviews on the food quality, the attentive server receives praise. The boneless bites and specialty sauces are popular choices, making it a decent spot for catching up with friends. Wheelchair accessibility and limited parking are noted. Price range per person is $20-30.

The food was excellent and served promptly. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. We tried the curd cheeseburger and the chicken bacon ranch pizza, both of which were delicious.
My husband and I tried to go here early on Friday night..we were hoping to try the fish fry. We had never been here before and sadly we could not stay because of the lack of ample handicapped parking. I'm not sure but I think I only saw one space in front. I pulled into parking lot on the side only to find that the entire back lot was closed since just seal coated-no sign stating this and no place to easily turn around.
I was hoping for a great burger but the lettuce looked old the mushrooms were all over not on burger, Cole slaw was good,I had burgers before but this time was not good.
The broasted chicken is absolutely incredible! They also have a great selection of tap beers, including Smithwick, which is one of my favorites.
Went to dinner last night, after finding a parking spot husband and I were walking in and commenting on how delicious it smelled. We had eaten there before and had the special steak and soup and it was amazing. We walked in the restaurant and it looks crowded. The couple in front of us saw the sign that says seat yourself , so they did. There are still more people hanging around but it looks like they 're talking to the group that are at the table as you walk in the door. We decide to go check out the bar and see if there 's any tables open and we see a couple getting ready to go. They said they were just waiting for the waitress to come back and we 're more than welcome to have the table. Another couple walked by us and say you 're waiting for a table we 've been here 20 minutes. He was quite rude so it was no surprise when a waitress hostess came by and said that they were waiting first. We didn 't want an argument and it 's only food, but if you have a seat yourself please pay attention!! Maybe have a hostess waitress on a busy Friday night and get rid of the sign!
