We went to "Le Petit Nice" in Roquebrun with a group of 12 friends (having duly reserved beforehand, of course) and all of us had a wonderful meal! The dishes on the menu included french classics such as "cuisses de grenouilles" and "escargots" (outstanding, both!), but also local specialties such as pigeon and trout, prepared in accordance with the chef's own succulent recipes. The beers are cold and the house wines (this is Languedoc heartland!) are perfect. The chef's daughter was one of our two friendly and efficient waitresses. The visit to this restaurant, in picturesque Roquebrun, overlooking the Orb river, was one of the highlights of a great (long) week-end in the region!
