Last Friday evening we visited the Bahnhöfli restaurant in Root. We have already tried a few steakhouses and were absolutely thrilled with the Bahnhöfli restaurant. The quality of the meat is incredible and the service is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at all. Just wanted to have something quick to eat and take a look because it was recommended to me. I have been a regular for several years. I have also had various family celebrations. I can highly recommend this restaurant in all respects. Bravo to the whole team.
Food is OK but too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, the boss is snooty and arrogant. The service staff, however, was very friendly.

Very good restaurant. eating is excellent and with large portions. the prices are obviously Swiss, so no surprise.
I just came back from a short stay in root and we ate in this restaurant at two separate locations. the service was excellent and the menu had a lot of dressed in the offer and also a nice selection of beer.
