Very friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere with having a table in the winter garden. Lively on a Saturday night (recommend to reserve upfront); came in at 21:30 in a nicely crowded restaurant. Even when we left around 2300 some tables were still occupied. On...More View all feedback.
Because I was in the south of Hanover and had the pleasure of chatting again with a dear long-time friend of mine and I wanted to try the Kückenmühle for a long time, I called the girlfriend and invited her to lunch. The ambience is wonderful, you don't think you're so close to Hanover, a real idyll, terrace in the sun, that's all right. Unfortunately, you could not claim that from food and service: service average, pizza ok to well, giant cloves in garlic catastrophic. Operation: It wasn't much to do, we were quickly served, the operation was normal friendly, but somehow wanted to explain that the little things are there in the bowl with my acquainted giant robes. Huge, well, rings 2cm, I don't know. The food: The pizza Margharita alone would have received from me 3 4 stars, the giant cloves (see above were miserable, much too small, the sauce only sharp, the garlic not present or so old that he simply had no aroma: less chili (what has chili to look in quantities of garlic cloves? and more fresh garlic would have done well to the food. It's just that sharp if you don't know or want to hide something else. The sharpness (and I liked to eat and more often was just so dominant that you only tasted sharply (I tried the debacle. The rich bread was very firm, either older or badly baked, at the beginning was just vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and bread, but no extra plates to dip what. And it wasn't like the food you ordered. I was later on eating again at various occasions: Conclusion: Normal Italian cuisine really goes well, the spaghetti Carbonara are very delicious. The ambience: Ambience fantastic. If the kitchen were blossom as the ambience beautiful terrace, all surrounded by green, quiet, sun and blue sky, beautiful braided furniture on the terrace it was just perfect.
Every Italian cook would get a heart attack based on the food served in this location. The quality of the antipasti was a joke. The pizza margarita was more low quality cheese than dough. and the beef filet ! slices was everything but filet....
