We were looking forward to enjoying a flavorful homemade Amish meal, but sadly, it fell short of our expectations. The turkey plate tasted quite processed, and the stuffing included nothing but small pieces of hard, bland bread. The mashed potatoes lacked flavor as well. Overall, we were very disappointed. On a positive note, the rolls they served were excellent, and our waitress was fantastic.
This charming café in a small-town setting serves diner-style food with a cozy atmosphere. The young staff, despite being teenagers and even preteens, do an excellent job. I tried the eggs benedict, which had a uniquely delightful flavor compared to the typical versions I've had. It included small bits of sausage and was topped with melted parmesan cheese over a perfectly runny egg. My partner enjoyed a beautifully buttery pancake. There's plenty of parking and seating available, making for a convenient dining experience.

I can't brag about this place enough! I made a impromptu trip to the Lancaster area for a furniture purchase and was so pleased to see that I could get dinner at what is now my favorite Amish style restaurant. I can personally speak for the ham loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, peanut butter spread, and the chocolate cake. You won't leave here hungry, if you do, something is wrong! Fast and friendly service too.
