Excellent experience! I've visited this restaurant several times when I was in the area, and I highly recommend it. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
The portion sizes alone make this place recommendable. The service was professional and charming. We started with the smoky BBQ pork burnt ends, which were decadently delicious. They didn't bring out the burnt ends first; instead, they were served along with our meals. We tried their burgers and a grilled cheese with crab cakes. The burgers were HUGE—juicy and packed with flavor. The sweet and spicy variant was only mildly spicy thanks to the tomato jam. I’d say it's one of the top five burgers I’ve ever had! The fries were plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the perfectly crispy sweet potato fries. The crab cake grilled cheese was good, but it wasn't quite my idea of a crab cake. The texture was more like a croquette, lacking the big chunks of crab I prefer. Nonetheless, the flavor and preparation were fantastic; it just wasn't my personal favorite style for crab cakes. I'm still feeling full 18 hours later... Seriously! It's definitely worth the wait and a great lunch spot before or after visiting the Strasburg Railroad!
The food is excellent, and the portions are quite generous. They also have a bakery, and their macaroons are truly delicious. We called ahead to ensure we could get a table, and there was no issue at all.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. As a result, the café was quite busy, and we had to wait a bit to be seated. Overall, I’d rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.
Excellent food, fantastic atmosphere, and attentive service. My husband picked up a great t-shirt. It's a wonderful Christian business. We'll definitely be returning!
