Stopped after leaving the Detroit airport looking for dinner. Boy, did we pick a winner! Terrific burgers! Fries were just perfect, tots were perfect as well. Place was fairly quiet when we stopped, so service was quick. Has a cool old roadhouse vibe, would definitely recommend it if you are in the area! My flight was canceled, and I had to spend a night at a hotel near the airport. Looking to relax with some beers, I wanted to avoid chain restaurants and bars. After doing some searching, I came across Wild Willy's, and I’m so glad I did! It was a fantastic experience. The bar staff was friendly and attentive, and the regular patrons were incredibly welcoming, which isn’t always the case in unfamiliar places. One of them even offered to give me a ride back to my hotel to spare me the cost of an Uber. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return to Wild Willy's.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for lunch before our flight and were quite pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food, especially considering the reasonable prices. The service was friendly, and the bar offered plenty of entertainment options to pass the time.
We visited Detroit to look at a few rental properties for my inventory, and a friend recommended stopping at this restaurant. What a fantastic choice! I ordered the fried mushrooms, and they’re definitely among the best I’ve ever had. I also tried the BLT, which was loaded with bacon. Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere make this a must-try spot!
