My husband heard from an employee at this restaurant that they serve delicious food. However, it's important to remember that, like any restaurant, they may not always prepare dishes to perfection or to everyone's individual taste. Ordered Cornbeef, I may as well went and got a Lunchables small and tasteless, felt this place caters to a special crowd and I wasn't welcome.
Since 1991 known as some of the very best Catfish around Metro Detroit for a very good reason. Lightly Dusted Cornmeal Breaded Catfish WOWED everytime. I had the Fisherman's Platter be Catfish, Cod, Jumbo Shrimp, Scallops and Smelt Yummy. I added Collar Greens, Hush Puppies and Mac n Cheese . Southern Soulfood at it's best. Full house at lunch time on Friday, they have thousands of regular customers for decades. Easy to find exit Wayne road off I- 94 just a half mile to corner of Wick and Wayne. She had a Wonderful Hot Grilled Chicken topped Salad and Bowl of French Onion Soup . Note limited hours Open all day Friday for Dine inside, 10 till 2 pm rest of week. And take out till 8pm everyday, Closed on Sunday. Fantastic service each visit, three times in last two weeks.
