What an amazing place! eat and service, where impeccable. will definitely return to future travel to rom!
One of the three most unwelcome dining experiences during our 12 days in Rome. I carefully selected this place for lunch based on reviews, and had I realized the woman managing the restaurant would be so unpleasant, I would have gone somewhere else. In addition to being unfriendly, service was very intermittent from both her and the server who ultimately took care of us. I almost felt like getting up once or twice to signal them to come over. Lunch consisted of Mezza Luna Orata (hall moon pasta with sea bream inside), €16.50, and Osso Bucco (veal shank), €17. Pasta dish was dry, and poor ratio of fish to the ravioli. Osso buco was also on the dry side and not tender the way it's supposed to be. Flavor was good however. Add in the usual pane charge of €2 pp, and 4 glasses of wine at average price of €6.50, grand total came to €64. Not a place I'd recommend as we had much better experiences and food at several other places.
The place does not match the high service charge they take — €32 for four people. They didn’t bring any olive oil with the bread, even though the Italian guests sitting next to us received it. The outdoor tables are cheap metal ones, poorly arranged, crowded, and unstable — with no tablecloths at all, despite the huge service charge.
