I made a reservation for dinner, but I left after a lovely glass of wine, a rather ordinary starter, and a bad taste in my mouth. Here’s a quick tip for the staff of Ciamarras: when a guest orders a glass of wine off a menu which clearly lists the name of the wine and the price, it’s a good idea NOT to come back after five minutes and ask him while pointing to the menu: “This glass of wine is ___ euros — are you okay with that?” He might be led to think this has to do with something other than the price of the wine, which would be pretty awful. I’m just going to assume it was ignorance. I brought this up with the owner and he apologised, which was nice, but the buzzkill stayed. Oh well — I went elsewhere and got a good pizza.
