We visited this restaurant after reading the lonely planet travel guide. The location is just off piazza Venezia and convenient for tourists. That being said I felt the staff to be unwelcoming and the restaurant was unusually quiet for 8pm. All other restaurants and generally busy with tourists however this one was not. The food was good we ordered two pastas and two glasses of red wine, both of which were tasty and served very quickly. However I would not return due to the lack of ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant.
Try to avoid this place at all cost. The customer service was horrible and the food was sooooo salty it was not edible. It’s unfortunate because it is so close to Victor Emmanuel II Monument. We ate a much better food at the Manument cafe for the same price.
Visited for a drink and a more important toilet stop. Unlike most Italians we found our first unhelpful one. If it wasn't for the use of the loo I wouldn't have entained it and certainly wouldn't recommend
We came there because of recommendation in Lonely planet book. We got the feeling that we are not very welcome here. Food was good but expensive. It was not easy to get in touch with the waiter even we were in middle of the restaurant. We found out that the glass of wine is only half what they gave to locals at the next table. Food and wine was good but expensive.
I chose this restaurant because I read the the owner hires graduates from the Trastevere Hotel School. I wanted to support the endeavor. Well, the service is pathetic. I had to wave my hand for servers multiple times for basic needs. The food is mediocre and overpriced. My pasta was devoid of flavor. Would I dine here again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to others? No
