The ice cream is fantastic but the Tiramisu is ”off the scale” good and don’t worry if you don’t like the coffee flavour they do strawberry, banana chocolate or hazelnut. The Cafe was founded in 1960 and I think well known for their Tiramisu but they do loads off sandwiches and other pastries and it is not expensive, a Cappuccino costs €1 and it was as good as I have tasted. Great place, genuine Italian cafe and lovely staff.

Had a delicious coffee and maritozzo (a traditional Roman delicacy brioche filled with cream) for breakfast and it was very cheap compared to the hotel breakfast. Very friendly staff too. The place was popular with locals which is always a good sign. We also went in a couple of times for their tiramisu which is by far the best I’ve ever had!
