This traditional Roman pizzeria and bakery has many luscious vegan pizzeria topping. when we went there, the half of the aromen were vegan and a few more vegetarian. the pizza itself is fantastic: airy, soft and crisp. they also sell fresh brot made with different meals and had a vegan plant cake!
I had some great discs in pane e tempesta. it's a good lunch. I would say a third of their options are with meat, a third vegetarian (with cheese) and the last third is vegan. I'd go back if I'm in rom!
The perfect place to eat Italian pizza or bread. A must try for every Rome trip. Maybe it it better for lunch as it is not exactly a restaurant but also perfect for a takeaway food. Highly recommend it!!!
The place is not at all in a touristic area of Rome, so can be quite challenging to visit if you are a tourist, but in my opinion it really worth a visit. The way they prepare pizza is amazing and will really be quite hard to find such tipe of quality around, especially outside of Italy. So if you are a tourist, plan a visit. Just pay attention that they have something like 4 tables, so reserve or be prepared to wait.
Pane e Tempesta was close to our accommodation so we tried it for lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pizza was so good, my friends and I went back every day of our trip in Rome. The pizza crust is crispy and has a great bite to it. The cheese is not overwhelming and the amount of toppings were just right. I would say that it is rather cheap for how good the pizza is. It's super yummy and I still think about it once in a while. I haven't had any as good as this yet. A thing to note is that the place is quite small so most people actually takeaway. But if there are seats, the place is nice, quaint and absolutely lovely.
