We visited the museum first and went up to the midday buffet. we have lots of fresh vegetables and salads (as much as they want) as antipasti, then a very good... read more We visited the museum first and went up to the midday buffet. we have lots of fresh vegetables and salads (as much as they want) as antipasti, then a very good cacio e pepe (other classics like amatriciana or arrabiata are available), then a beautiful Tagliata...di manzo, cooked to perfection, all for 15€ per person. the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional; the terrace is beautiful. if you love contemporary art and architecture and a good day decoration they must come.

We enjoyed the various sa... read more After visiting the very nice museum, we happened on he restaurant. The buffet lunch here is generous and very good for a mere 15 Euro! We enjoyed the various salads, pastas and fish and had some fruit salad and sweet canapés for desert. Everything was...nicely put, and most other diners seemed to be office people who obviously come here regularly. Lucky them!

The MACRO is also a great alternative to the overcrowded classic sigh... read more A fantastic building – anyone with a passion for contemporary art will find it worthwhile. The MACRO is also a great alternative to the overcrowded classic sights in Rome. The staff is very friendly. There's a museum café and a book and souvenir shop. The museum is wheelchair and walker accessible. There's an elevator. I'm not sure if there's an accessible restroom.
